Designed by Ed Nacional. He owed me a favor and we worked together on making something that I thought illustrated one of my values:
Explore /ikˈsplôr/ verb: travel in or through (an unfamiliar area) in order to learn about or familiarize oneself with it.
To me, that’s the essence of life. Traveling through unfamiliar areas. Learning from the experience and then evolving from it. It’s what makes life interesting, exciting, and challenging.
The binoculars help create a touchstone of sorts. A reminder to look out in the distance for the next place to explore. You can also put the binoculars down and focus on what’s right in front of you.
We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.
– T.S. Eliot. Little Gidding, V. 1943.
The wall-e look was just an added bonus.
